Mohsin Dar is an advocate and legal consultant. He did his LL.B in 2018 from the Department of Law, University of Kashmir. In 2019, he joined District Court Kishtwar where he performed as an advocate for about 02 years. In the meantime, he was appointed a Remand Lawyer and Penal Lawyer by the District Legal Services Authority, Kishtwar. He has performed in several legal programs organised by different legal and other administrative departments. In 2020, he was appointed as Legal Consultant by the Bar & Bench, India's popular legal journal covering Supreme Court and other High Courts across the country. He has reported several Supreme Court judgements and the judgments coming from the other High Courts especially the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. He has interviewed several senior Lawyers as well as the Judges including the former Chief justice of J&K High Court Justice Gita Mittal. He is also the founder of 'Kanoon Ki Dastak', a social media platform to spread legal awareness among people as well as to provide free legal assistance to poor people.
